Partridge (perdiz) hunting is one of the most traditional activities in Argentina. Hunters go through cut fields and hills and wait for the birds to fly away from the ground.
Perdiz are hunted with dogs, similar to quail hunting. Perdiz are normally larger than quail and covies are smaller. This is an extremely fun sport.
Although the flight of the perdiz is straight, when it senses movement, it has a great ability to change its direction abruptly.

Perdiz hunting can
be combined with duck and dove hunting and with an exciting circuit
of small game hunting
